Before treating any signs of gum disease, we will give you a thorough dental check up, including an X-ray to see how far your symptoms have progressed. This will ensure you get the best possible treatment for your particular case.

We will then discuss your treatment options with you.

Treatment will include a thorough clean of your teeth, to remove all traces of plaque, the film of bacteria responsible for causing gum disease. Whilst, in some cases, we will also clean the roots of teeth, using a process known as root planing.
