Dr
Bob Khanna
He was one of the first dentists in the World to venture into facial aesthetic procedures utilising botulinum and dermal fillers over 12 years ago. Shortly after, due to his unparalleled success with such treatments, Dr Bob Khanna created the concept of hands on one-day training courses in order to help regulate and formalise such procedures, and to allow other medical and dental professionals the opportunity to learn and adopt the techniques he has mastered. Dr Bob Khanna was the first ever UK dentist to offer such level of training. He has now trained and lectured to many Dentists, Doctors, and Plastic Surgeons both in the UK and Internationally. Indeed, he has trained most of the current UK trainers in non-surgical facial rejuvenation.
ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS In November 2003, Dr Bob Khanna was awarded with a Fellowship to the 'International Academy for Dental-Facial Aesthetics' in recognition of his pioneering work in Facial Aesthetics. Other Fellows include the likes of Larry Rosenthal, George Freedman and Gordon Christiansen. Dr Bob Khanna is President and founder of The International Academy for Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA). A non profit organisation, unique in that it is the only organisation to combine medical and dental professionals. Dr Bob Khanna is widely published in both Dental and Medical journals on the subject of Facial Aesthetics including ‘Private Dentistry’, ‘Aesthetic Medicine’, ‘Aesthetic Dentistry Today’ and ‘Dentistry’. Dr Bob Khanna is the appointed clinical tutor in facial aesthetics at the Royal College of Surgeons.
